Planet Hack
Planet Hack is an annual collaborative hackathon, hosted by the Australian National University in partnership with high schools, where young innovators come together to solve the world's most pressing challenges. Over two days, students work side by side, brainstorming, coding, and developing solutions that address key global issues, from climate change to sustainable urban living.
Planet Hack focuses on net zero and sustainability, aligning with global climate priorities by challenging students to develop innovative solutions to climate-related issues based on UN Sustainable Development Goals.
In a rapidly evolving world, technological advancement and creative problem-solving are crucial to facing the challenges ahead. Planet Hack provides a unique platform for students to experiment with innovative ideas, learn from each other, and make a difference. Our event fosters a culture of collaboration, encouraging students to think critically and work together on solutions that have real-world impact.
By participating in Planet Hack, you'll tackle global challenges like food security and climate change, apply knowledge from various subjects, strengthen your research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and enhance your confidence and communication through teamwork
